Perfect Antique 1905 French Coffee / Tea 950 Silver Tea Set!!!!
Well over a century old antique set with all the fine details not buffed away.
Antique French solid silver tea and coffee set - a four part set of a coffee pot, teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl with lid - each with a low waisted body decorated with a central berry and leaf border, beaded rims and lid detail, raised on four elongated scrolled feet with leaf decoration at both the foot and where the leg joins the body, and with swept handles with similar leaf decoration, and the lids finished with decorative pine cone type finials. The handles on both the tea and coffee pot have bone insulators.
All marked with French Minerva marks for 1st Standard silver 950 (which is more pure than Sterling) and with Atelier marks for Auguste Guyot of Paris - total weight of the set 1861grms - individual weights - coffee pot 561grms, tea pot 591grms, milk jug 237grms, sugar bowl 472grms - overall approx dimensions of coffee pot height 260mm, width from spout edge to handle 220mm, overall approx dimensions of teapot height 220mm, width from spout edge to handle 235mm, overall dimensions of milk jug height (including handle) 144mm, width from spout edge to handle 116mm, overall dimensions of sugar bowl height 180mm, width from handle edges 175mm - c.1905 France.
